Surface Fabrication & Design Expo Participation

March 16 & 17, 2006

Mystera solid surface products were again one of the main "attention getters" at the 2006 SF & DE in Las Vegas. Fabricators from across the United States and several foreign countries expressed a strong desire to begin offering Mystera products.

New Colors:
Mystera presented six new colors at the SF&DE. The Gallery Collection now includes Chalet, a more neutral color joining the five bold colors that previously made up the Gallery Collection.

Five new colors were added to the Terrascape product line. Tuscany, Mystic Dune, Raw Silk, and Mohave add more earth tones that can be integrated into most design schemes. Midnight Surf is a rich color for special applications where a designer needs to make a statement.

2cm Vanity Top Products:
Of particular interest to fabricators and designers attending the show was Mystera's 2cm vanity top displays using integrated and under-mount vanity sinks. The beauty of Mystera on vanity tops is unmatched in solid surface and superior to all other materials. Fabricators were intrigued with the prospect of a vanity top requiring no buildup and no adhesive. Using a loose backsplash, the labor in a typical vanity top is significantly reduced, increasing profit margins.

Builders and designers in all major U.S. markets are quickly discovering Mystera 2cm vanity tops. The tops can be offered as standards or very profitable upgrades that literally sell themselves to the homeowner.

Kitchen Features:
A Kitchen display was shown at the SF & DE with an island demonstrating the beauty of combining Mystera Slate as a border and inlay in Mystera's new Tuscany color. A routed backsplash that was left un-sanded gave the look of tile, but with the non-porous Mystera solid surface benefits. The display was a popular photo opportunity throughout the show.

Several of the show attendees commented that Mystera had more products of interest than any of the other presenting companies. Mystera is the new solid surface choice of designers, builders and fabricators.
